The Real Story Behind JADO

JADO began as a simple conversation between a dad and his 12-year-old son, Jack — a spark of a dream that neither of us expected would grow into something this special.

One day, completely out of the blue, Jack asked if he could create T-shirts. I told him, “If you can come up with a name or an idea, something simple to start with, then we’ll do it.”
A couple of months passed and life got busy… nothing happened.

Then, by chance, a friend asked if I could help him with a few printed tees and hoodies for his business. Even though I’d stepped away from printing, I did them from home — and Jack watched everything with curiosity.
He turned to me and said, “Does this mean we can sell T-shirts now?”

My answer stayed the same:
“Bring me a name and an idea, and we’ll make it real.”

The very next day, Jack came back with something he’d clearly thought about deeply.
He said:
“The name is JADO.”
(Jack + Dom combined.)

But he didn’t stop there. On his own — using whatever tools and imagination he had — he created a slogan:
Just A Dream Official.
And even designed a logo to match.

That was the moment I realised how much this meant to him.
So, as I promised, I’ve given him my time, my support, and everything I know to help bring his little dream to life.

Now Jack comes up with ideas, concepts, creatures, symbols and themes.
I work with him to turn them into real designs.
I make the clothes and handle the production.
He helps with print placement, packs every order himself, and proudly checks each item before it goes out.

After our first few tees, Jack said, “Can we do beanies?”
Then came hoodies… sweatshirts… more designs… and even bigger ideas.
Watching his confidence and creativity grow has been the best part of this journey.

We’re not a big company.
We’re just a dad and his son building something together — learning, dreaming and working side by side.
Every follow, every comment, every order supports a real 12-year-old boy’s dream and a project that means the world to both of us.

Our mission is simple:
To create clothing that inspires imagination, feels good to wear, and proves that every dream — no matter how small — has the potential to become something real.
